WELCOME TO STYL!

STYL (“Company”, “We”, “STYL”, "Us") offers an online marketplace via this website   (“Online Platform”) allowing natural persons (“Users”, “You”) to buy and/or sell second hand and/or new fashion items, including clothes and/or accessories (“Items”).

This privacy policy (“Policy”) sets out how We collect, use, and protect any information that You provide to Us when You access the Online Platform. Please read it carefully to understand how and why We are using Your Personal Data (as defined below). By accessing the Online Platform, You are agreeing to the provisions contained herein. Please do not use the Online Platform if You do not consent to any of the provisions contained herein.

Please read this Policy carefully, together with the Seller Terms of Service and Buyers Terms and Conditions as they all form the contractual conditions together. This Policy does not override any other terms of use and shall be read in supplement to other conditions.

CONTROLLER.

Styl, a limited liability company validly existing under the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, collects and process Your Personal Data.

USERS.

The Online platform is intended for users above eighteen (18). Please do not access the Online Platform if You are under eighteen (18) as this is necessary for the eligibility to form a legally binding contract. We do not knowingly collect and process Personal Data of minors. Please contact us immediately if You think we are collecting Personal Data of a minor.

PERSONAL DATA.

We may automatically collect the following information, together referred to as the (“Personal Data”):

1. Name, email, phone number, username, password;

2. Address (such as billing address and delivery address);

3. Social media profile (if You choose to signup via Your social media account);

4. Your use of the Online Platform (including but not limited to: traffic data, weblogs, communication data, and accessed resources);

5. Previous listings details (including but not limited to: accepted Items, rejected Items, sold Items, Your total sales);

6. Previous purchases details (received Items, returned Items, failure to receive Items, total purchases);

7. Information about listings (including but not limited to Item pictures, Item description, Item price, and receipts);

8. Mobile device used, mobile network information, mobile operating system, device type, and time zone setting; and/or

9. Financial data, such as payment card, purchases, and/or returns.

 At all times, We only collect and process Personal Data for specific and legitimate reasons only. At no time We will adversely affect Your rights and interests in Your Personal Data.

PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION.

We may collect Personal Data, each time You access the Online Platform, through one or any of the following methods:

1. Direct Interactions. You may provide Us with Personal Data by filling in forms or contacting Us via phone, email, or otherwise. Direct interactions, include but are not limited to, registration to login/sign up via the Online platform, listing an Item, buying an Item, completing a form or survey, subscribe, feedbacks, and/or corresponding with Us (via email, phone calls, or any other available form).
2. Automated Technologies. We may collect data through Your browsing actions and patterns by using cookies as explained herein, analytics providers, and/or advertising networks.

USE OF PERSONAL DATA.

We may use Personal Data for any of the following reasons:

1. To sign You up as a new user, as You cannot proceed with certain actions (such as buying or listing) without providing Personal Data;
2. To get in touch with You via various electronic means (email, phone, SMS, or Online Platform’s notifications);
3. To process and deliver Your order and/or listing, including but not limited to, managing payments, charges, and collecting money;
4. To manage our relationship and give You access of a fully functional Online Platform;
5. To access leaving a review or feedback;
6. To administer and protect the Online Platform (such as troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, system maintenance, support, reporting, and hosting data);
7. To use data analytics to customize and enhance user experience and marketing;
8. To provide You with relevant content and advertisements (recommending features, content, social connections);
9. To keep Online Platform safe and secure;
10. To perform internal administration and operations; and/or
11. To perform our legal and regulatory obligations.

TRANSMISSION OF PERSONAL DATA.

We may transmit Personal Data with the following third parties:

1. Delivery service providers;
2. Logistics service providers;
3. Accounting service providers;
4. IT and hosting service providers;
5. Government or competent authorities (if required under applicable laws);
6. Marketing and business service providers; 
7. Legal service providers; and

We only transmit Personal Data for the proper functioning of the business cycle. At no time, We will sell Your Personal Data.

SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA.

We implement adequate security measures to prevent unauthorized disclosure or accidental loss of Personal Data. Access to Personal Data is restricted to only those (employees, agents, third parties as explained above) who have a legitimate reason to access it and they are under confidential obligations. However, please note that internet transmission does not guarantee absolute security. We cannot guarantee that internet data transmission is completely secure; We cannot warrant the security of any Personal Data.

PERSONAL DATA RETENTION.

Except as required by applicable laws, We maintain Personal Data for a reasonable period of time to maintain Our database, perform ongoing services, and maintain the Online Platform. 

We retain Personal Data for as long as necessary to fulfill the following obligations:

 

1. Identity verifications;
2. Tax obligations;
3. Legal obligations;
4. Accounting;
5. Reporting;
6. Complaints;
7. Customer service;
8. Disputes;
9. Conclusion of contracts;
10. Statics and analysis; and/or
11. Sending marketing campaigns (emails, newsletters, or alerts) unless You opt out.

 We will remove or archive Personal Data upon Your request, unless We are compelled by applicable laws to retain it. You hereby represent and warrant that by accessing the Online Platform, You understand and agree that any Personal Data submitted to Us may be used in accordance with applicable laws.

OPTING OUT.

By sharing Your Personal Data, You are agreeing to receive marketing communications from Us via email, Online Platform, social media, or by any other means. You have the right to opt-out of receiving marketing communications. You have the right to request from Us to opt-out and not receive future communications. Please note that opting out  of marketing communications does not stop Us from sending transactional or service-related communications.

Cookies are small text files that is unique to the web browser on Your device used to retain preferences and enhance Your experience (“Cookies”). We use Cookies or similar devices to enhance Your user experience, facilitate Your browsing behaviour, improve the Online Platform, offer personalized experience, and further understand Your experiences.

Technical Cookies: Technical Cookies are set as default and mandatory as it affects the overall functionalities and the performances of the Online Platform. Technical Cookies allow You to browse the Online Platform, provide actions requested by You (to purchase, add to cart, to list, etc). 

Analysis Cookies: Analysis Cookies are used to identify how You use the Online Platform such as identifying Your navigation actions, analyzing Your utilization of the Online Platform. By accepting Analysis Cookies, You will have a better platform experience as rejecting it may slow down the Online Platform overall performance. 

Personalized Cookies. Personalized Cookies are used to personalize Your experience by visiting the Online Platform. We reserve the right to amend the Policy from time to time. We may, at our sole discretion, bring such amendments to Your attention.
